Warehouse Worker – 2nd shift
Warehouse duties include performing site warehousing functions that support the overall manufacturing operations and other customer-related activities. The activities may include but are not limited to receiving, kitting, cycle counting, shipping, feeding production, etc.

- Keeps supervisors informed and escalates issues when needed.
- Assists in cycle counting and material strategy initiatives.
- Works with Production team to align part deliveries to manufacturing plan.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Gathering, loading, and moving pallets/carts accurately and efficiently to distribute to the production floor.
- Maintaining an organized and clean space for materials to be placed in designated staging areas.
- Operating forklift to move large materials and products.
- Receiving tasks include loading and unloading truck shipments (using a variety of forklifts) and stocking the warehouse shelves.
- Receiving - Check items to ensure that part numbers and quantities match the packing slips and bill of material.
- Turn in packing slip to administrative assistant after shipment has been received in full.
- Inspect parts and notify Quality Dept. of potential quality issues.
- Label items job number and BOM line number.
- Mark BOM to show items have arrived along with the date of arrival and quantity.
- Put received materials in the correct location in the warehouse.
- Record the location of all job specific items on the whiteboard.
- Count, weigh or measure items for outgoing shipments and reconcile with shipping documents, i.e., bills of lading, invoices, orders, pick lists, and other documents for the movement, receipt, or sale of materials and make corrections as necessary to reflect accurate information.
- Wrap, secure and protect product using proper packaging material to protect during shipment.
- Load materials onto pallets to optimize space and best utilize freight space. Ensuring proper packaging to ensure no handling and transit damage occurs.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications for delivery.
- Load enclosed trailers, flatbeds, etc. using a variety of forklifts.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Notify the PMs when product has shipped.
- Drive company vehicle(s) to vendors or off-site warehouses.
- Load or unload trucks using forklifts as necessary.
- Process returns shipments.
- Notify sourcing when the shipment leaves SPS.
- Become trained in the areas core standards and functional specific operations before working without direct or supervisory oversight.
- Stay current on processes, procedures, standards, policies and training for assigned job and operational area.Pay: $23.00 per hour + $3.00 per hour shift differential
