Warehouse Supervisor

F.C. Ziegler Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations within our warehouse facility. This role is perfect for an experienced logistics professional who excels in team leadership, inventory management, and interdepartmental coordination.

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be instrumental in ensuring a high-performing, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. You’ll support the Warehouse Leader and serve as a point of contact for both internal departments and external partners, including carriers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily warehouse operations and delegate tasks to maximize team productivity.

- Maintain proficiency in all warehouse roles to support training, troubleshooting, and fill-in coverage.

- Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse and OneServ staff, fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.

- Coordinate weekly inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.

- Manage shipping/receiving workflows, including LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments.

- Oversee return processes and ensure compliance with company policy.

- Communicate with internal departments to resolve delays and streamline operations.

- Monitor and report on KPIs such as inventory accuracy and shipping timeliness.

- Maintain safety standards and support a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.

Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED.

- 2–3 years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.

- Strong knowledge of WMS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Solid understanding of freight logistics and LTL coordination.

- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to enforce safety policies and adapt to seasonal operational demands.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs using proper technique or assistance.

- Ability to stand, walk, and operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.

- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying noise levels, temperatures, and dust.
