Warehouse Person

Battle River Power Coop is a cooperative electric utility in Central Alberta supplying electricity to about 8700 rural members. We have a staff of about 62 employees engaged in all aspects of power distribution from installation to maintenance to billing, all administered from the same office near Camrose, Alberta.

Warehouse Person

We are looking for highly motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Person. This is a permanent full time position.

General Summary:

o As a Warehouse Person you are responsible and accountable for the inventory process

o Coordinates the ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing and shipping materials, supplies, shop tools, equipment and parts, in the stockroom, warehouse and yard

o Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment and products.

o Maintenance and inspections as required in the yard, buildings, tools and equipment.

o Provide assistance to the field crews in areas as required

Qualifications:

o Two to five years of Warehouse experience

o Effective organization and planning skills with a background using Microsoft Office & preferred inventory management system

o Self-starter with the ability to work productively and independently

o Excellent interpersonal, team participation and communication skills

o Preferred skid steer & forklift experience

Hours of Operation: Hours of operation are generally 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
