We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the efficient operation of our warehouse and field services.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring inventory is managed effectively and that parts are delivered promptly for natural gas compressor and engine service needs. This position involves working with various gas engine parts, compressors, and tools while maintaining a high level of organization and safety in the warehouse. This is a leadership role that will require excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to high standards of inventory and field support.

Requirements Essential Functions:
+ Maintain inventory for engines and compressors, including parts for CAT, Cummins, Waukesha, Ariel, and CIP systems. + Utilize manufacturer websites and resources, including CAT SIS 2.0, Cummins Parts Website, and INNIO/Waukesha Parts Website, to order parts and manage inventory. + Assist with requisitioning and requesting parts daily and after hours, ensuring accurate and timely delivery. + Coordinate internal transfers (ITRs) and assist with field technicians' parts requirements. + Operate and manage inventory for warehouses, Connex units, and tools, performing weekly and quarterly cycle counting. + Utilize and navigate through manufacturer books and drawings to identify parts within the frame that are needed.
+ Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, coworkers, technicians, and vendors via email, phone, and text to coordinate parts and service needs. + Receive and respond to field support requests, ensuring timely acquisition and delivery of parts. + Understand and react promptly to "Machine Down" scenarios, managing urgency in parts retrieval.
+ Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper storage of parts and equipment. + Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to transport and organize inventory. + Manage and execute warehouse tasks including shipping and receiving, verifying parts and quantities on orders, and processing PM Kit charge-outs. + Maintain organized records for parts, equipment, and inventory transactions.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols, using proper PPE when working in the field or warehouse. + Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment, ensuring safe lifting and handling practices. + Ensure a clean and organized work environment, following safety and environmental regulations.
+ Lead the warehouse team, providing guidance, assistance, and support during regular and after-hours operations. + Train and assist coworkers as necessary, ensuring consistent application of company procedures.
+ Maintain accurate records and manage data entry for inventory, parts orders, and service requests. + Support other departments by preparing forms, processing invoices, and communicating service information. + Assist with the preparation and management of production schedules, job tracking, and material requisitions.
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. + Minimum 3 years of administrative support or warehouse experience, with a focus on industrial or mechanical parts. + Experience with the Core and Warranty Return Processes, including familiarity with associated paperwork and procedures. + Knowledge of the daily requests and parts ordering process to include afterhours ordering from vendors. + At least 2 years of experience with gas engines (CAT, Cummins, Waukesha) and compressors (Ariel, CIP) in the natural gas industry. + Familiarity with engine and compressor parts used in natural gas compression packages. + Ability to process Movements within our company system with the skill to perform Transfers-In and Transfers-Out. + Strong understanding of inventory processes, including data entry (25-35 WPM), cycle counting, and warehouse management.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word), and the ability to use inventory management software. + Ability to navigate and utilize parts websites (CAT SIS 2.0, Cummins, INNIO/Waukesha) for parts ordering and inventory control. + Capable of creating ITRs (Internal Transfer Requests) to include completing the form and sending the request via email. + Experience with KENCO, Kimray, Murphy, Altronics, Emerson, Fisher, EMIT, Dodge, and the ability to learn additional components used on each skid based on engine, frame type, style, and size. + Familiarity with various tools, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding machines.
+ Strong communication skills for interacting with field personnel, technicians, managers, and vendors. + Ability to lead and support a team, providing direction and assistance during both day and after-hours operations. + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
+ Ability to lift up to 128 pounds as needed; team lifts required for heavier items. + Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain). + Ability to travel to field locations, operate trucks (F250), and support field inventory replenishment. + Steel-toe boots required (provided annual boot reimbursement of $150).
+ On-call rotation required with after-hours callouts. + Must be flexible to work weekends and after hours as needed.
