We are looking for an HPS Shop Technician to join our team in Midland, TX

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Clean test and repair incoming VFD’s from the field.

- Prep and verify proper operation of outgoing VFD’s.

- Movement of VFD’s between the TDC building to Manufacturing building for shipping.

- Accountability of Spare VFD’s in the yard (VFD count).

- Installation of Phazer controller.

- Delivery of parts to the Field in the moment of need.

- Maintain a clean work environment at all times in accordance with all safety rules.

- Comply with Company policy, procedures, and safety requirements, whether written or communicated verbally, including the instructions and directions from individuals in direct supervisory positions.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

- A High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.

- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license

EXPERIENCE

Previous oilfield / ESP field experience is preferred.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

- Basic hand tool proficiency

- Basic computer skills required to operate computerized test equipment.

- Advanced electrical and mechanical knowledge

- Advanced electrical meter proficiency, i.e. volt, amp, ohm, megger meters, oscilloscope
