VP OF FIELD OPERATIONS

The VP of Field Operations oversees the daily management of three oil field divisions (production, workover and maintenance) located in Wichita, Archer and Clay Counties. This position will provide the hands-on strategic direction, oversight and implementation of the companies? objectives. This position requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought-out results. Strong leadership and control of work process from beginning to end is necessary.

VP of Field Operations Job Responsibilities

- Lead operational management including oversight of production, workover, maintenance divisions, capital requirements, planning and administration, safety and cost management

- Oversee and implement the strategic objectives of the company

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the production, workover and maintenance divisions

- Formulates policies, programs and procedures for these divisions

- Develop operational strategies with executive management to achieve production and financial objectives

- Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities across each division

- Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals

- Building and managing a team of professionals, driving employee engagement, positive culture and execute strategic workforce planning initiatives

- Promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality

- Participates with executive management in the establishment of company operational related goals, expense budgets, capital budgets, objectives and plans

- Works with other Directors and/or VP?s across the Engineering and Geological divisions to ensure a cohesive work environment

- Assists Procurement/Equipment, RRC Compliance and Testing Divisions when necessary

- Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability

- Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions

- Production monitoring and evaluation via the companies production software?s/systems

- Asset management planning

- Understanding of all operating and financial systems current and future for the company and how to maximize use and return from each
