CDL Vac Truck Driver – Grease Trap Service Technician, Local Work

Location: Charleston, SC Pay: $25–$32/hour to start (based on experience) Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

- Pump and clean grease traps and cooking oil containers

- Operate vacuum tank trucks for hauling non-hazardous liquid waste

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety

- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members

- Provide excellent customer service on every job

Requirements:

- Valid Class A or B CDL (manual transmission endorsement helpful, but not required)

- Clean driving record

- Experience operating vacuum trucks preferred

- Ability to lift/move heavy equipment as needed

- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Skills & Experience:

- Familiarity with vacuum truck operations helpful but not necessary

- Knowledge of pumping procedures for grease traps and interceptors

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Schedule:

- Early morning shifts

- Monday–Friday (no weekends)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
