UTILITY WORKER IV - ALL DIVISIONS

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Division Manager, Operations Superintendent, and the Foreman the Utility Worker ("UW") IV must demonstrate a proficiency in communicating with the general public, company employees, supervisors, and others. The UW IV must demonstrate the ability to prepare legible, clear, concise, and complete written reports, map postings, meter reading route maps, ACC postings, daily reports, and CAGRD records. The UW IV must understand and communicate information related to customer service, maintain proper conduct, and present a positive image of the Company. Must be available to perform on-call duties and work overtime in emergency as well as planned job assignments.

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist UW III employees as size or complexity of job may require. • Work involves general operation and maintenance of the water distribution system, installation of additional facilities such as mains, services, hydrants, and auxiliary fittings.

• Maintain and control appropriate level of inventory and supervise the receiving and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment. • Be proficient on inventory control paperwork.
