Casual Utility Meter Reader

We're currently hiring for Casual Meter Readers in the Cranbrook, BC area! NO EXPERIENCE is required with paid training! If you consider yourself an independent worker and enjoy being outside, this job is for you! Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license, have a reliable vehicle and have a clean criminal and driving record.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for reading gas meters and recording volume used by residential and commercial consumers to ensure accurate consumption and billing. May perform visual meter inspection to assess the condition and overall operation of the meter and note any visible defects or issues.
