Meter Reader

Full time Meter Reader/ Laborer for a water utility company located in North Houston. Responsibilities are to accurately read and record water meter usage for billing purposes, report any broken meters/meter boxes/meter box lids. Must have basic mathematical skills to communicate past/present meter reading and have map reading abilities. This job requires frequent walking, standing and some occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. and applicant must have a valid Texas driver's license. May also involve replacing meters, hanging doorhangers and working on a backhoe crew along other manual labor jobs as needed. This is an entry level position with opportunity for advancement.
