Job Summary
Responsible for receiving and processing outage requests for Transmission facilities for maintenance of lines and station equipment while maintaining adequate system stability and security. Coordinates activities with the various departments of the Company to maintain
adequate transmission facilities and notifies proper personnel regarding outages. Responsible for assisting in the supervision of assigned personnel in carrying out the safe, efficient and continuous operation of the transmission system. Has the responsibility and authority to comply with NERC Reliability Standards regarding transmission operation in order to help ensure the stable and reliable operation of the bulk electric system.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:* Responsible for coordinating the operation of the transmission system, restoration of service, prearranged switching for construction and/or maintenance.Minimum Requirements: Education Requirements:* Four-year engineering/technical degree from an accredited ABET institution preferred.
Experience Requirements: In addition to any experience requirement listed above, the successful candidate must have:* Minimum of six (6) years of experience in Transmission RealTime Operations including two (2) years of experience as an Energy Delivery System Operator Principal, Energy Delivery Operations Coordinator/Scheduler Senior, Engineer Sr (TOPs), or SCC Reliability Coordinator Principal.
Licenses/Certifications:* Must be NERC certified at either the Reliability Operator or Transmission Operator level and maintain certification credentials as set forth by NERC.
Other Requirements:* Must have the ability to analyze conditions and make proper decisions quickly under emergency situations.

$112,869.00-146,730.50 USD
