UNIX Midrange Support

Position / Project Description

Seeking experienced professionals with expertise in Red Hat, SuSe, and AIX (3–5 years). Additional skills required in storage (IBM/NetApp) and backup (NetBackup) support.

Deliverables

- Unix and system administration

- Server and application maintenance

- Technical support and troubleshooting for server issues

- User training and documentation (including technical guides and system updates)

Work Requirements

- On-call rotation expected

- Occasional overtime may be required (rarely exceeding 40 hours per week)

- Offsite work permitted; onsite attendance may be requested periodically with at least 4 weeks’ notice

- Scheduled time off: between Christmas and New Year’s, and Easter Monday

Resource Qualifications

Mandatory Education/Certifications:

- Related Certified Professional Designation

Desired Education/Certifications:

- 2–4 years of formal technical education (technical school or university)

Mandatory Experience:

- Proficiency in Unix (Red Hat, AIX, SuSe)

- Proficiency in Azure Administration

- System admin projects/support including Microsoft Server, Azure, and related products

- Technical documentation and user guide creation

- Security management, including permission setup and access controls

Desired Experience:

- Setting up and supporting Unix, server, and Azure systems
