Scoop Operator

Responsibilities

Capable to make workplace safe by check scaling.

Mucking out development round to the nearest re-muck. Mucking re-muck to dump location.

Identify unsafe ground condition.

Communicate pertinent information with the shift supervisor and cross shift on regular basis.

Remote mucking stopes, following all procedures and regulations.

Experience, Education and Skills

Prior experience as scoop operator is required.

Experience remote mucking

Experience operating 6 and 7 yard scoop.

Installation of mine services is preferred.

Capable of identifying hazards and safely rectifying them.

Capable of effectively working alone or as a team.

Health and Safety

We are seeking individuals who will promote health and safety, follow company procedures, work in accordance to local legislation, ensure the proper use and condition of personnel protective equipment and maintain a safe and effective work place.
