Position

Mechanic - Bradshaw Mine

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair and maintain mobile mining equipment.

Complete PM's and inspections as required.

Identify unsafe ground condition.

Communicate pertinent information with the shift supervisor and cross shift on regular basis.

Experience, Education and Skills

Prior experience as a mechanic is required.

Experience working on jumbos, scissor lifts, 6 & 8 yard scoops, personnel carriers, and other equipment as required.

Experience repairing jacklegs and stopers an asset but not required.

Capable of following a maintenance schedule.

Capable of identifying hazards and safely rectifying them.

Capable of effectively working alone or as a team.
