Our division is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer at our Turquoise Ridge Underground Operation. The successful candidate will statistically analyze equipment and performance to assess reliability, maintainability, and availability.

- Leading a team which identifies various defects in an underground mine and sets priorities on opportunities for reliability improvement by mining information using reliability databases and inputs from various sources.
- Provide visible felt leadership during interaction with other team members and as a salaried staff representative in support of and demonstrating the NGM - DNA (Core Values)
- Demonstrate Teamwork, Interpersonal Skills, Communication with Stakeholders and other skills and behaviors important to how results are achieved in the surface mine maintenance environment at site .
- Implement various operational and maintenance alternatives to leverage cost-savings effectively managing forecasted and budgeted expenditures
- Statistically analyze equipment and performance to assess reliability, maintainability, and availability
- Provide training and facilitation on root cause failure analysis (RCA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) with maintenance and operations personnel
- Develop Nevada Gold Mines’ Maintenance Procedures, Standards and Specifications focused on sustaining a reliability-culture
- Cultivate productive partnerships with key vendors/OEM’s that drive improvement in equipment
- Maintain and validate downtime reporting databases and KPI’s
- Identify, scope and evaluate reliability improvement projects
- Proficiently utilize maintenance operating system (S4-HANA, SAP) to record and report out on maintenance activity in a continuous improvement strategy
- Drive continuous improvement in the maintenance division and help foster the culture to ensure its longevity
- Ensure the sustainability of the Condition Monitoring techniques that are to be implemented

- Demonstrated safety leadership capability for both self and team required
- Excellent leadership, people, and communication skills required
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering ex: mechanical, electrical, industrial, mining required
- Five (5) years of practical experience in industry ex: reliability/manufacturing/mining/powerplants required
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of reliability and improvement concepts: RCA, FMEA, RCM, LEAN preferred
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Condition Monitoring techniques ex: oil and vibration analysis, thermography and/or ultrasonic emissions preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project required
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) preferred
