Under the direction of the Turbine Plant Operator II employees perform various site management and administrative functions associated with the operation and maintenance of the Gas Turbine Generating Stations in accordance with company procedures, system controller and power pool dispatch instructions. This is a full-time salaried, union role based out of our Valleyview Generating Station in Valleyview Alberta.
This position is safety sensitive. The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment testing.
This position is administered under the CEWA Job Posting provisions.
Under the close supervision of the lead operator, employees assist with performing basic site management, operations and maintenance functions. Typical duties may include but are not limited to assisting with:
