The Flatbed Tractor Trailer Driver is responsible for hauling fabricated steel from our Fabrication Plants to construction sites located in the Western States, primarily in Nevada and California.

- Ensure loads are organized and secured properly and free of damage.
- Maintain proper documentation of loads.
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed DOT standards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to perform each essential duty daily.
- Two-year minimum CMV Tractor Trailer driving experience (flatbed preferred).
- Class A CDL
- No more than 2 moving violations in 12 months.
- No speeding 15 MPH or more violations in 3 years.
- No rollovers or abandonments.
- Must pass DOT background check, physical and drug screen.
- Must be dependable and reliable enough to operate trucks in a safe and sensible manner.
- Work independently in the absence of supervision.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- The ability to strap and tarp loads in rain, snow, heat, or other inclement weather conditions.
- Secure freight by hand.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs to at least shoulder height.
- Spread out tarps at heights up to 13’6”.
- Throw straps to a height of 14’ over a load.
- Occasional use of hands in handling materials and tools.
- Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and reach while doing cargo securement.
- Physically fit to work in an industrial environment and tolerate exposure to varying physical conditions.
- Must be able to sit/drive extended hours when necessary.
- Use of PPE such as gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear is required.
- Interaction with customers, team members, dispatchers, and supervisors are frequent and necessary.
