Traveling Superintendents play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of NNI construction projects while maintaining and promoting the company mission.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Project schedule as set-forth by NNI and the Project Manager
+ Specifications provided by the Project Manager and Director of Construction
+ Compliance with construction plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
+ Implement and enforce quality control measures
+ Foster a positive and safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures
+ Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits
+ Identify and mitigate potential hazards
+ Monitor and address safety concerns
+ Maintain regular and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and project managers
+ Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation
+ Identify and address construction related challenges and obstacles proactively
+ Collaborate with project team to develop innovative solutions and strategies to overcome difficulties and maintain project progress
•Completion of daily tasks:
+ Coordination of all sub-contractors to ensure a smooth and evenly paced project
+ Reports, progress photos, videos
•Initial resolution of disputes, poor workmanship, scheduling delays, etc.
•Effective and collaborative communication and coordination with the Project Manager

SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL
•Responsible for supervision of all 16 trades
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 3 years as Superintendent for a General Contractor in retail/commercial
•Minimum of 3 years commercial/retail construction
•Must have experience leading and managing a team of subcontractors and on-site personnel
+ Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project objectives
