Job Description: Job Summary:

To assist the Plant Manager with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing other miscellaneous plant-related functions. This is a 100% travel position.

Essential Duties:

•

Ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment, depending on the job site, accurately, efficiently, and safely.

•

Must be able to ramp all stockpiles and load customers safely and in a timely fashion.

•

Must be able to assist in the event of a breakdown.

•

Clean up around plants and surrounding area.

•

Lubricate and perform general maintenance on the equipment.

•

Ability to follow directions.

•

Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

•

This is a Van Eaton Ready Mix "Safety Sensitive" position.

Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.

Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Van Eaton Ready Mix employees. Employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. One to two years of related experience and/or a combination of both.
