The Transportation Rep Sr is responsible for nominating, allocating, confirming and balancing natural gas flow volumes with suppliers, purchasers, and pipelines. They will monitor gas volumes and evaluate and reduce pipeline imbalances, analyze data, and monitor and reconcile imbalances while serving as the primary liaison for pipelines and storage facilities. Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Troubleshoots customer issues as they arise; Serves as the first point of contact with customers for scheduling related issues
- Supervises gas volumes and evaluates and reduces pipeline imbalances for shippers and operators; Communicates with Pipeline Control on confirmation and imbalance management as needed
- Tracks and evaluates pipeline maintenance schedules and communicates proactively with customers to ensure they are well advised
- Manages and maintains relationships with pipeline and scheduling representatives to ensure operational integrity
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: High School Diploma /GED and minimum seven (7) years' experience in marketing or commercial
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Able to work after hours as the need arises
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel, and PC skills
- Understanding of accounting principles and procedures for gas accounting
- Strong problem solving skills and analytical approach
- Knowledge and understanding of scheduling Eastern Interstates pipelines
, Works independently to nominate, allocate, confirm and balance gas flow volumes with purchasers, pipelines and well owners. Mentor junior Reps. Schedules and monitors gas volumes and provides direction and counsel on gas scheduling. Evaluates and reduces pipeline imbalances and serves as primary liaison in pipeline imbalance resolution and handles month end allocations for pipelines and storage facilities. Tracks and evaluates pipeline maintenance schedules for impact on gas flows. Provide onboarding training to new customers/users. Resolves complex problems and answers nonstandard questions pertaining to gas scheduling. Advanced level complexity. Recognized as expert in scheduling team.
