About This Position:

Interns evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional types of plans, development of planning studies or reports, investigations, or surveys with relatively few complex features under the general guidance of a Project Planner/Engineer or Project Manager. This work is on small projects or portions of larger projects. Typical projects include transit, highway, traffic signal, bridge design, long range transportation planning, traffic impact studies and transit planning.

Job Requirements:

Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in related discipline such as civil engineering or planning from an ABET/EAC accredited program or an approved equivalent. Self-motivated and strong work ethic. Strong organizational skills are required; ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Pay Range:

$20/hour – $26/hour

Pay is based on applicant’s ability/experience and will be rated accordingly.
