We’re seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-driven Transportation Permitting Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring our operations run smoothly across multiple states by managing permitting processes, coordinating with local and state officials, and supporting road access and compliance for critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
•Permit Coordination: Prepare and submit transportation permits—including road crossings, access roads, and RUMA/bonded roads—to government agencies across Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
•Railroad Permits: Liaise with individual railroad companies to handle permitting for operations in the same regions.
•Government Relations: Build and maintain productive relationships with state and local government officials to facilitate permit approvals and ongoing communication.
•Field Coordination: Organize and facilitate road repair site reviews in partnership with internal contractors and government representatives.
•Documentation Management: Maintain and update digital repositories of all transportation permitting documentation to ensure accessibility and compliance.
•Budget Support: Provide accurate transportation permitting financial forecasts to support Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) planning and updates.
•Safety Coordination: Submit requests for 911 safety addresses for new facilities in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
