About This Job

Seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our growing Chicago, IL office! This position offers the opportunity to work on the design of a variety of transportation and site engineering projects. This role does offer hybrid opportunities.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and will not require current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

•

Design of highway, municipal, and site development improvements, including roadway elements, site grading, storm drainage, water main distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, and other site or public utilities.

•

Preparation of local, state and federal permit applications.

•

Identifying and handling compliance with regulatory agencies.

•

Collaborating with design staff.

Qualifications:

•

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

•

EIT certification preferred.

•

A minimum of 1 year of relatable experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.

•

MicroStation and Civil 3D experience is preferred.

•

Candidates with additional years of experience are encouraged to apply.

•

Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, municipal and IL Tollway design and standards a plus.
