POSITION TITLE: Transportation Assistant

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports directly to Transportation Manager

Primary Purpose

The Transportation Assistant provides administrative support to the Transportation Manager and facilitate the efficient operation of the transportation department.

Essential Functions

- Ability to plan for crew mobes.

- Assist Transportation Manager with any assigned tasks.

- Assist in transportation services occasionally.

- Familiar with Microsoft Office, specifically outlook and excel.

- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Problem-solving skills.

- Willing to take calls after normal working hours.

- Willing to work late if needed to complete assigned task.

Physical Requirements

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Job Requirements

- Maintain a valid driver's license.

- Must be able to pass motor vehicle records (MVR) check.

- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

- Must be able to pass background check.

Experience and Education

- High school education

- Some experience as an Office Assistant

Tools and Equipment Used

- Office equipment.

Environmental Conditions

Most of the work is done in an office environment.
