The Transport Driver is responsible for driving in all conditions and transporting cargo/fuel to our various locations. Transport Drivers are also expected to meet company safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Job Details:
Pay Range: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour based on experience
Essential Job Duties:
•Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads cargo or fuel to and from specified destinations.
•Inspects vehicle and notifies manager of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
•Proactively identifies and reports safety concerns and violations at the branch or customer sites.
•Meets all DOT requirements.
•Keeps vehicle and equipment serviced and running well to minimize delays in delivery.
•Position may require working evening hours and weekends as needed.
•Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
•Must be able to lift and/or up to 50-75 lbs.
•Must be able to climb into the assigned truck.
•Frequent bending, pulling, pushing and lifting.
•Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Must be able to pass background check, MVR and drug screening.
•Must have a valid Class A CDL License.
•Must have at least one year of experience driving a Class A vehicle
•Previous hauling hazardous material experience a plus
•Must have a valid Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements.
•Must have a valid Medical card.
