CLC Engineering is a growing civil/structural engineering firm specializing in high-voltage structures for substations and switchyards. We are seeking an experienced Transmission Line Design Engineer to join our team in Alexandria, LA.

What You’ll Do

- Design transmission lines, structures, and foundations

- Contribute to physical design of high-voltage substations and related infrastructure

- Ensure project deliverables meet submission and fabrication schedules

- Collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results

- Participate in site visits, inspections, and client consultations as needed

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

- 5+ years of transmission line design experience (including physical design of high-voltage substations preferred)

- Proficiency with engineering design tools (preferred software: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Mathcad, STAAD Pro, LPile, RISA Foot, PLS-Pole, and PLS-CADD)

- Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment

- Willingness to travel occasionally for projects and client meetings

- Must be local to or willing to relocate to Alexandria, Louisiana. (No Remote Work Offered)

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
