We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Transmission Journeyman Lineman to join our dynamic team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage transmission lines and associated infrastructure. As a Journeyman Lineman, you will apply your expertise to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, working both independently and as part of a crew to meet project deadlines and safety standards.

- Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: This includes installing new power lines, repairing damaged ones, and maintaining existing infrastructure.
- Working at Heights: Linemen frequently work on poles and towers, sometimes reaching considerable heights.
- Operating Equipment: They utilize specialized tools and equipment, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other machinery.
- Safety Procedures: They follow strict safety protocols, including proper grounding, minimum approach distances, and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Troubleshooting: They diagnose and resolve issues with power lines and associated equipment.
- Working with High Voltage: They work with energized lines, requiring specialized knowledge and care.
- Construction and Maintenance: They build new transmission and substation facilities.
Understanding of electrical systems, including transformers, insulators, conductors, and grounding.
Ability to climb poles and towers, work in various weather conditions, and handle heavy equipment.
Deep understanding of safety procedures and regulations, including OSHA standards.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with power lines and equipment.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and following instructions.
High school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a lineman apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
May require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and other relevant certifications.
