AES Clean Energy (ACE) O&M group is seeking a candidate to assist in developing and managing a renewable technical training program for the Solar/Wind/Battery technicians.
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Training Program Specialist to support and execute corporate training initiatives. This individual will tactically support the Manager of O&M Technical Training in executing the Training Team’s objectives and vision through the coordination, development, and delivery of training programs that span field operations and corporate teams. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management, training program development, learning management tools, and adult learning, along with a strong process mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
The Training team’s mission is to equip Field Operations technicians with the knowledge to operate AES sites to the highest standards and empower stakeholders with tools to collaborate at all levels of technician career progression. The main goal of the Training Team is to train technicians with experience levels ranging from entry level to advanced trouble shooting so they can safely and effectively maintain and operate the equipment.
The Training Program Specialist position is a versatile role in AES’s Technical Training team, which will evolve as the Training Program develops. During the first 6 months the role will focus on developing necessary tools and leveraging current AES software platforms to bring vision to life, and on project managing existing training offerings. Later, the role will transition into leading the adoption of tools, managing their day-to-day use, and driving updates as the Training Program continues to grow.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
