- Design and manage onboarding, training, and certification programs tailored to PGSV field service operations.
- Assess current training practices and recommend improvements to boost performance.
- Collaborate with leadership, HR, and support teams to enhance development strategies.
- Lead the setup and strategy for the new Cambridge training facility.
- Develop training materials using adult learning methodologies.
- Build trainer capabilities and foster a culture of learning.
- Track KPIs to measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage training resources, tools, and budget.
- Share best practices across internal and external networks.
- Support technical skill development in high-voltage breakers and transformers.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience designing and delivering training programs.- Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to coach and facilitate across all levels.
- Strong communication and planning skills.
- Technical knowledge of high-voltage equipment and services.
- Lean management system experience is a strong asset.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
