Traffic Coordinator

We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our organization as the Traffic Coordinator on a full-time capacity.

Largo Clean Energy (LCE), a subsidiary of Largo Inc., headquartered in Wilmington, MA and working to become a leader in long-duration energy storage. The company's VCHARGE battery system uses patented battery technology and proprietary vanadium electrolyte processing to provide customers with safe, efficient, low-cost, and long-lasting, long-duration energy storage. The parent company, Largo Inc., is an industry leader in global vanadium supply with operations in Brazil and corporate headquarters in Toronto, Canada.

Position Purpose

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the activities of the commercial area in Brazil, USA, and Canada, maintaining a close relationship with customers, as well as the converters hired to transform the company's basic product, V2O5 flake, into Ferrovanadium. The Traffic Coordinator will plan, and schedule deliveries based on Purchase Orders received, by interacting with the various support areas located in Maracas, Salvador, Dublin, and McLean, VA offices.

Responsibilities

- Maintain a close relationship with customers and vendors in Brazil, USA, and Canada.

- Respond to purchase orders/contracts received.

- Follow up ocean freight shipments: update trading system with ETA and update 3PL on vessel arrival.

- Plan and coordinate all deliveries performed in Brazil, USA, and Canada with trucking companies and warehouses.

- Liaise with the finance team and banks for credit and financing.

- Manage contracts with our convertors of Ferrovanadium including planning volumes, quality, packaging, and deadlines.

- Assist with quotations and creation of new contracts.

- Attend and monitor internal and external audits of the commercial area.

- Respond to requests from the various areas that interact with commercial.

- Keep information and data duly updated in the systems used by the company, such as SAP.

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education

- Minimum of 2 years' ocean/inland shipment experience preferred

- Fluent in Portuguese preferred

- Knowledge of SAP modules, preferably Material Management & Procurement and Sales & Distribution

Skills & Abilities

- Ability to work cross-functionally, understanding the roles and needs of various departmental team members;

- Ability to achieve results through direct and indirect supervision;

- Displays strong communication, problem-solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills;

- Proficient computer skills and project management software
