Traffic Control Plan Designer

Bighorn Traffic Services, based in Nampa, Idaho, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Traffic Control Plan Designer to join our growing team. This position will design quality temporary traffic control plans for Multiple Agencies through out Idaho and Oregon.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare base and complex plans.

· Provide base and complex temporary traffic control layouts including multi-phase and multi-jurisdictional plans.

· Perform plan production.

· Perform project site verification to assist with base plans and/or temporary control layouts.

· Coordinate with Project Managers, dealing with work distribution.

· Prepare plan revisions based on customer and/or public agency feedback.

· Perform complex project site verification to assist with base plans and/or complex temporary control layouts.

· Provide feedback on plan reviews for supervisor documentation.

Qualifications:

· Proficiency in Office Suite.

· Proficiency in plan designer software such as Rapid Plan or AutoCAD.

· Strong knowledge of Google Earth and Google Maps.

· High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Knowledge of large construction documents and how to read them.

· Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and adapt to changes in workflow.

· Advanced knowledge of traffic control requirements.

· A Flagger Cert/TCS Cert will not be required upon hire but must be obtained and retained during employment.

· A valid driver’s license and clean driving background are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
