Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Rouyn-Noranda, QC from Monday to Friday starting at 8:00am to 5:00pm for a temporary role. You will play a vital role in our daily operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles, enjoy hands-on work and providing exceptional customer service.
What you’re responsible for:
•Safely operating a tow truck (flatbed)
•Transporting customer vehicles to the branch
•Maintain accurate records of towing assignments, including vehicle information, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any special instructions
•Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure safe operation
•Performing general labour tasks that may including depollution, tire dismounting, etc.
•Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and customers to coordinate towing activities
•Provide our customers with excellent customer service!
Qualifications To join our team:
•Valid Class 5 driver's license in good standing;
•Knowledge of towing laws, regulations, and safety procedures
•Ability to operate and maneuver a tow truck safely in various road and weather conditions
•Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
