Manage tooling engineering, layout and pattern shop in a foundry setting.
- Work with tooling engineers and set expectations for tooling quotes and builds
- Work with layout and set expectations for dimensional verification and corrections
- Work with customers to meet tooling and casting dimensional requirements
- Work with production personnel to provide tooling that meets plant needs- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four year college or university; or three + years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of relationship between VMM (Vertical Molding Machine) tooling, core tooling, core fit in mold etc
- Experience with CAD, pattern shop, layout, engineering, as well as knowledge of Magmasoft
- Blue print reading
