Job Description
As a Tool & Die Maker Apprentice, you will participate in a comprehensive 4-year program designed to develop advanced skills in designing, building, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and fixtures used in our cold heading manufacturing process. This apprenticeship combines hands-on training at our facility with formal education to prepare you for a rewarding career as a skilled tool and die maker.
Key Responsibilities
•Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of machining equipment used in cold heading processes.
•Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•Support the fabrication, repair, and modification of tools, dies, and molds.
•Perform quality checks to ensure tools meet precise specifications.
•Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes.
•Attend and complete required coursework at the North Montco Technical Career Center (NMTCC).
Education and Training
•1st Year Apprentices will enroll in Machining 1A and 1B courses offered through the North Montco Technical Career Center’s Continuing Education program, starting September 9, 2025.

•Coursework includes instruction in precision machining, blueprint reading, and tool maintenance, with additional advanced courses over the 4-year program.
•On-the-job training will complement classroom learning, providing hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment over the duration of the apprenticeship.
Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in precision manufacturing.
•Basic math skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
•No prior experience required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Willingness to sign an apprenticeship agreement committing to the 4-year program, including attendance, coursework completion, and on-the-job training requirements.
