Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and work with various materials. This position requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all welding tasks.

Duties

•

Perform TIG welding on various metal components, ensuring strong and clean welds.

•

Fabricate parts according to specifications from blueprints or engineering drawings.

•

Operate hand tools and machinery, including press brake machines and forklifts, to assist in the fabrication process.

•

Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.

•

Rig materials as necessary for welding operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.

•

Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions of finished products.

•

Engage in pipe threading and ductwork fabrication as required by project specifications.

•

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a TIG Welder or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.

•

Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.

•

Familiarity with hand tools, press brake machines, and forklift operation is preferred.

•

Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

•

Ability to rig materials safely for welding processes.

•

Experience with calipers and other measuring instruments is an asset.

•

Knowledge of pipe threading and ductwork fabrication techniques is desirable.

•

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
