The Yacht Rigger is currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Tig Welder-Fabricator to join our growing team!

- Weld, cut, grind, clean, and measure materials to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
- Cut materials with various tools including horizontal band saws, torches, reciprocating saws, grinders, and plasma cutters to ensure exact measurements.
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts and structures using various tools and equipment.
- Assist in grinding and polishing welds to a #8 mirror finish using pneumatic and power grinders, sanders, etc.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Assist in rigging, welding, and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Maintain equipment and tools
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Experience in tig welding thin materials, cutting, grinding, and measuring materials (3+ years)- Ability to achieve a high polish finish (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, and fractions
- Must understand the US customary and metric measurement systems
- Must be able to read shop drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to evaluate, install, and modify equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work efficiently in non-climate-controlled environments.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.
Pay Range: $25-40 per hour, commensurate with experience
