This position will be based in the Central Region of the US (preferably in Denver, CO – other acceptable locations in central region would be Northern California or Salt Lake City, Utah). How You’ll Make An Impact
- Build and expand relationships with key Grid Automation customers
- Lead strategic account planning and pipeline development
- Represent a full portfolio of grid automation products and services
- Deliver insights and guidance to customers navigating complex solutions
- Collaborate across teams to execute impactful sales strategies
- Attend industry events and represent Hitachi Energy’s thought leadership
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
- Engage in critical project touchpoints and escalate when needed
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience to the role. Additionally, candidate with an Associate’s degree or High School Diploma (GED) will be considered based upon the specifics of the experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or grid automation required
- Proven technical selling aptitude in energy or adjacent industries
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
- High percentage of travel will be required
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
