The Blind River engineering department is looking for an engineering technologist experienced in CAD who would like to be part of a growing team that provides design services and solutions to support ongoing site operations.
As a member of the engineering department the engineering technologist will provide support to the refinery operations based on knowledge of mechanical equipment and design. Provide CAD services, including the production of CAD construction drawings, developing 3D process plant models, piping layout designs, intelligent P&IDs, HVAC schematics, and maintaining current as built drawings. Support the delivery of all site capital, expense, and general improvement projects through the design, construction, commissioning, and transfer phases.
Responsible for day-to-day departmental support, including drawing/documentation requests, equipment file maintenance, and engineering document control. Ensures that design work is completed in accordance with Cameco’s processes, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements (Federal, Provincial, and corporate SHEQ). Travel occasionally to other Cameco production facilities.
