JOB SUMMARY:

Transmission Engineering Services provides CADD services to the Transmission Engineering department at SaskPower. The team works closely with the designers at all stages of a project to ensure that their designs are depicted accurately to communicate engineering expectations clearly with construction and operational teams. CADD Technologists on the Transmission Engineering Services team use a wide variety of CADD software including AutoDesk, Vault, ElecDes, PanelDes, Inventor, Cyclone. Previous experience with any of these software packages combined with previous work experience in engineering or construction environments would be considered an asset.

The employee in this classification is responsible to perform a variety of office, onsite and project assignments associated with the planning, design, construction, modification, maintenance and operation of SaskPower’s facilities, equipment and infrastructure. This position will also be responsible to provide support to professionals, perform quality assurance and quality control functions while managing various budget, tendering and estimating duties related to departmental projects and functions.
