Reporting to the chief mining engineer, the surveying technician is responsible to performs surveys of the various workplaces. Produces updated plans in accordance with established standards. Places surveyed mine openings on various sections and plan views used by technical departments. Carries out various tasks requested by the chief surveyor, such as ventilation surveys, reading instrumentation, etc. He/She assembles drawings to serve as blueprints for development and mining. He/She performs his/her work in compliance with the company's laws, rules, regulations, procedures, policies, etc., the Mining Act and occupational health and safety.
Based at the Windfall site, located in the North of Quebec area, he/she will be required to work a schedule of 15 days on followed by 13 days off. Transportation, accommodation and meals provided.
