Technician – Tank Cleaning Truck Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Technician to operate our tank cleaning truck and perform underground and aboveground fuel storage tank cleaning. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.

- Clean the interiors of underground and aboveground petroleum storage tanks

- Perform maintenance and ensure cleanliness of truck and cleaning equipment

- Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients in a professional manner

- Travel extensively to job sites (per diem and lodging provided)

- Abide by all DOT regulations, including proper logging of hours

- Work Monday–Friday with weekends at home (willingness to work long hours within DOT specs is required)

Requirements

- Self-motivated and highly communicative

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety as the top priority

- Pride in workmanship and ability to uphold the company’s reputation

- Dependable, professional, and willing to grow in the role

- Fuel industry knowledge preferred (willing to train the right candidate)

- CDL not required

- Qualified to operate a larger Kenworth box truck

- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance

- Load, secure, and unload materials with attention to safety and efficiency

- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment

- Accurately complete delivery logs, invoices, and related paperwork

- Willingness to travel as needed for regional or out-of-town assignments

- Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials safely
