Shanahan Engineering, an EthosEnergy company, have an opportunity for a Recruitment Officer to develop the current business of the Company in the Americas. The role will circle around identifying new sources of talent within the industry, fostering new talent within the organization for the successful delivery of its services and to successfully manage the activities associated with delivery of the customer specific contractual requirements. The Technical Recruiter will focus on the sourcing and recruiting of suitable technical employees and contractors for company projects in the Americas.
- Have a good understanding of current and future potential projects and source suitable candidates based on requirements of job descriptions, the level of skill set and experience and the timeline for the role
- Use recruitment tools (LinkedIn, Career builder, job postings) to advertise current and future potential positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates
- Manage all correspondence/communications with current and future candidates using ATS
- Ensure that all candidates are progressed through the recruitment process in a timely manner and that candidate records are kept up to date using Jobscience
- Where appropriate ensure that candidates have completed the pre-employment online assessments
- Provide shortlist of potential candidates to hiring managers
- Set up technical interview with hiring manager
- For senior positions set up interview with senior recruitment officer or hiring manager
- Prepare employment/assignment contracts for approval by Finance / HR
- Send approved employment / assignment contracts to candidates along with briefing documents of assignment
- Responsibility for clients of Shanahan Engineering with accountability to develop and grow the existing business in the Americas providing management insight on a continuous basis and lead the continual improvement effort
- Review customer technical requirements to ensure we deliver what the customer wants
- Build and maintain databases of qualified personnel globally
- Maintain a completive resource supply chain
- Identify candidates with skills required to deliver the customer’s requirements and their salaries and terms for use in proposal development
- Staffing outages with competent craft, supervision, TFA’s and management personnel
- Use Salesforce to establish an asset management database for all current and future employees / contractors
- Ensure full compliance with HR requirements in various jurisdictions across the world
- Comply with both the Company and EthosEnergy Heath, Safety and Environmental (HSE) system requirements and procedures.
