E Source is seeking an experienced technical recruiter with a focus on software engineering, power systems engineering, and electrical engineering roles to support the rapid growth of a key area of our business. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in building high-performing technical teams that support our engineering-focused services and solutions. We're looking for someone with a strong background in recruiting for highly technical positions—ideally within electrical engineering or related fields—who understands the nuances of sourcing candidates for complex, consulting-style projects.
This position will primarily focus on filling roles based in Calgary, Canada, so familiarity with the local talent market and relevant hiring practices is a plus.

How you’ll help:
•Partnering with hiring managers in both the US and Canada to understand technical role requirements, with a focus on electrical engineering and related specialties.
•Developing and executing targeted sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and search firms.
•Managing the full recruitment cycle, including posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews to assess both technical and cultural fit, and coordinating the interview scheduling process and offer process.
•Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of talent for current and future openings.
•Acting as a strategic adviser to internal teams, offering insights on talent availability, market trends, and competitive compensation.
•Collaborating with HR and other internal stakeholders to support a smooth onboarding process.
•Maintaining accurate records and candidate tracking using an applicant tracking system (ATS).
•Continuously improving and refining recruiting practices to align with team goals and business growth.
•Representing E Source and its values throughout the candidate experience by ensuring consistent follow up during the recruitment process.
What will make you a great fit:
•5+ years recruiting for technical roles, ideally in electrical engineering, power systems, utilities, or related fields.
•Familiarity with engineering and consulting-style project environments, and the ability to understand complex technical job requirements.
•Strong sourcing skills using a variety of platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and referrals).
•A strong desire to partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, develop tailored hiring strategies, and guide candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle.
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical candidates and internal stakeholders.
•Experience using ATS and recruitment tools.
•A self-starter with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
•A passion for recruiting and creating an excellent candidate experience.
•Fostering a positive and inclusive team culture by actively participating in team meetings, sharing ideas, and supporting team members—willing to jump in and assist with other tasks in recruiting and HR.
•Experience creating queries and conducting Boolean searches to find the right candidates.
•The ability to work independently and simultaneously fill multiple positions.
•Experience directly sourcing hard-to-find skillsets and familiarity with various sourcing tools and techniques.
•Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

The budgeted salary for this position is:
•$80,000–$100,000 USD + annual bonus.
•$81,000–$109,000 CAD + annual bonus.
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
This role will be 100% remote, with infrequent travel (generally 1–2 times per year). Preference shown for someone located in the Denver or Boulder area.
