We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Supervisor to lead and support our operations team. This role is responsible for driving remanufacturing process improvements, ensuring product quality, and providing leadership to all shop floor employees. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in manufacturing systems with proven leadership skills to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.
· Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of production staff
· Conduct Prestart meeting, job assignments, set job expectations, and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development of team members.
· Lead troubleshooting of complex manufacturing and equipment issues.
· Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
· Drive standardization of production procedures towards engineering standards.
· Validate quality of builds as per engineering standards.
· Develop, implement, and monitor manufacturing processes that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.
· Support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Collaborate with quality, engineering, and operations teams to enhance productivity and optimize wrench time.
· Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation. Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met for each project and build.
· Manage resources, material and equipment to support production needs
· Manage maintenance of equipment to support production needs.
· Define and provide tooling and resources needed to support production needs.
· Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and process automation.
· Maintain accurate technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance with ISO/AS standards.
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
· 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
· Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and manufacturing process simulation tools.
· Understanding of CNC machining, fabrication, assembly processes, and quality assurance systems.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
