Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our home remodeling team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to start a career in the construction and remodeling industry. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of home remodeling.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should:

•

Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.

•

Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.

•

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Job experience is preferred but not required.

•

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

•

Reliable transportation to job sites.

•

Be capable of lifting 80lbs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

Complete all work with the highest quality of craftsmanship and in the time allotted.

•

Assist with demolition, construction, and installation tasks.

•

Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.

•

Load and unload construction materials.

•

Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions.

•

Assist in the installation of fixtures, cabinets, flooring, and other home features.

•

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

•

Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager or team leader.

•

Participate in a safety and update meeting every morning.

•

Remain informed – including any revisions of plans, specs, change orders, schedule, etc.

•

Accurately fill out time sheets daily

•

Respond to calls and texts after hours. Send communications out to team members the night before.

•

Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with the Project Foreman or Supervisor

•

Be responsible for job site safety. Make sure jobsites are always secure.

•

Clean the job site daily and vacuum inside work areas daily.

•

Check the job site App daily.

•

Update the Project Foreman at the end of each workday on any construction material needed so that it is available when needed.

•

Be proactive with and find information about the work schedule and plan accordingly.

•

When problems or questions arise, try to have a solution in mind before you come to the Project Foreman.

•

Follow all safety regulations and wear the required safety equipment.

REQUIRED TOOLS:

•

Tools are supplied by Procore Renovations and should be kept clean and in great working order.

SCHEDULE:

•

Official workday hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, but we are flexible. A typical day would have one 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. We plan projects with enough time to complete the job without the use of overtime.

•

Additional hours and weekend work may be required to keep on schedule. We will occasionally need to work around the weather.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

•

Employees may be required to stand and/or walk over 85% of the time

•

Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling may be required 25%-75% of the time.

•

Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required over 75% of the time.

•

Lifting up to 100 pounds may be required over 25%-75% of the time.

•

Lifting more than 100 pounds may be required less than 25% of the time.

•

All employees must meet the vision requirements to obtain a driver’s license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

•

Working in wet, humid, cold, rainy, and hot conditions is required.

•

Working near moving mechanical parts, working at heights or on ladders, scaffolding, and planks will be common.

•

Fumes or airborne particles such as dust may be present, and the use of masks and respirators is company policy.

•

Employees may have to work in outdoor weather conditions 50% of the time.

•

Loud noise levels will be typical for this job.
