Supply Chain Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient logistics, and enhancing overall inventory management. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and the ability to leverage various tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.

Duties

- Analyze and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

- Utilize Quickbooks Online for purchasing and inventory management.

- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations.

- Conduct demand planning and production planning to ensure optimal inventory levels.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support logistics and supply chain analytics initiatives.

- Perform root cause analysis to identify issues within the supply chain and develop actionable solutions.

- Manage purchasing activities, ensuring timely procurement of materials while maintaining quality standards.

- Monitor inventory levels, implementing strategies for effective inventory management and control.

- Utilize data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI for reporting and decision-making purposes.

Skills

- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online, Microsoft word & excel.

- Strong knowledge of supply chain management concepts, including logistics, inventory management, and procurement.

- Must have experience in the oil and gas industry.

- Experience with supply chain analytics tools, including SQL for data analysis.

- Ability to conduct demand planning and production planning effectively.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
