Superintendent

Superintendents oversee and manage all phases of construction projects including project safety coordinating workers, materials, and equipment, supervising sub-contractors and staff, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and that work is proceeding on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. Superintendents may interact with specific Government, Federal, County, and/or City Agencies, based on Division and/or Department assigned. Specific job titles may include Telecommunications, Underground, Field, Bore Crew, Project, Equipment, Gas, Electric etc.; however, the essential duties and responsibilities are highlighted below.
