We are currently seeking a

to join our

team in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a permanent position.

The role is the division’s structural expert, having both experience and understanding of mining infrastructure including standards and codes. As part of the role regular trips to underground mines and to the various surface plants as well as periodic travel to other Vale North Atlantic facilities within Canada will be required.

As a

, you will be responsible to provide civil and structural engineering services to Vale’s various plants and mines as well as to supervise a group of engineers and designers producing scope of work and civil and structural engineering packages. Excellent leadership skills are required as is the capacity for producing and overseeing innovative engineering solutions to operating and maintenance problems.
