Join us this summer at the Jackson Powerhouse for an exciting opportunity to work in the hydroelectric industry! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist with the maintenance and operation of our hydroelectric plants in remote outdoor locations. Tasks will include trail clearing, weed whacking, mowing, trimming, planting, habitat restoration, and assisting with maintenance on fish ladders, dams, spillways, and powerhouses. You'll work alongside skilled mechanics, electricians, utility workers, and natural resources teams to help maintain and improve our facilities and public recreation sites. This is a hands-on role where you'll also have the chance to learn from civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers about the operation and upkeep of five hydroelectric plants and one methane-burning co-gen generator. Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older at time of application.

High School student or student currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or vocational program, working toward a degree or certification.
