POSITION SUMMARY:

Warehouse Associate - Summer Student

Turnkey Modular Systems designs and manufactures piping systems, structures and tanks. We offer customized process systems that meet the modular needs of the pharmaceutical and food industries.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the timely movement of goods in and out of warehouse, and for keeping accurate records of inventory. Day shift.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare shipping documents.

Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and attach packing slips.

Direct delivery trucks and help drivers unload goods.

Inspect and count items that are received, ensuring accuracy.

Record shipped and received goods in logbooks.

Unpack received goods into appropriate storage areas.

Trace lost shipments as needed.

Fill out forms for damaged and returned items and route them correctly.

Maintain stock room. Track supplies and inventory.

Maintain safe working conditions.

May be required to operate pallet jack and related stockroom machinery

Other warehouse duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

General computer skills

Previous warehouse experience.

First Aid training and WHMIS knowledge would be an asset

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
